Another great season of Ice Hockey World Cup 2012 is just around the corner. This time the IIHF event is hosted in Finland and Sweden. Matches will be held at Helsinki and Stockholm from 4th may to 20th may 2012. 46 teams will battle in the 15 days of action packed contest. This World Championship Finland & Sweden is the 76 event in the series. While the number of teams in each pool would remain the same, that is, 8 teams in reach pool in this world championship Finland & Sweden, however, the preliminary and the qualification round, which was used to be held separately earlier would be merged into one this time.
